Zilingo, Singapore-based high-profile startup, has suspended the Co-Founder and CEO of India and CEO of Ankiti Bose after alleged differences in company accounts.
In the Round of Fresh Funding, B2B Online Fashion Company, which supplies technology for clothing and factory traders, has tried to collect $ 150 to $ 200 million which will place its assessment with more than $ 1 billion marking entries to the Unicorn Club. However, the allegation of the difference claims had stopped the process of placing Boses under the radar for mismanagement.
Zilingo was founded by Ankiti Bose and Dhruv Kapoor (head of technology and product officers) seven years ago to help small businesses throughout South and Southeast Asia sell their items online. The famous start-up was founded by Bose when he was only 23.
In 2019 when Zilingo collected $ 226 million from investors including Sequoia and Temasek, Bose was considered a visionary that changed the entrepreneurial game for Southeast Asia because the company’s assessment rose to $ 970 million. He was only 27 years old.
Bose began his career with a short task at McKinsey & Company in 2012 and joined Sequoia Capital as an investment analyst in 2014. He said his experience in Sequoia helped him build a startup.
He did school from Mumbai and went to College St Xavier in the city where he studied economics.
Bose has been featured in the list of 30 under 30 in Forbes Asia and 40 under 40 under 40. He also made it to the Bloomberg 50 list in 2019.
The trip to Bangkok made him aware of the potential of the market that stemmed the idea for Zilingo when he saw most of the retailers in the market not skilled enough to improve their business. He founded Zilingo in 2015 and moved to Singapore a year later.
With millions of users in a short time, Zilingo takes over the market and now has an operation that includes Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, India and the United States.
When controversial controversy is currently launching, Bose has ruffled and denied allegations of mistakes and offered a suspension in part because of his complaint about harassment, Bloomberg reported quoting people close to this case.
